TheMoreMobsmodaddsdozensofnewcreaturestoMinecraft,fromhumanentitiestoall
kinds of species including new hostile mobs specific to The Nether and End regions. It's
nothing short of the Minecraft equivalent of the Galapagos Islands and is a fabulous piece
of work. In fact, the author of this mod contributed substantially to the horse models used
in the Minecraft v1.6 update.
Unfortunately, at this writing, the mod's developer has embedded the installation into an
adware-ridden utility that only works on Windows PCs. I wouldn't usually include a mod
that does that because one must take extra care to decline all offers during installation, but
itreally isasplendidmodsoifyoudogoaheadanddownload,justbesupercareful asyou
installtoensureyourbrowserisn'thijackedbyanothersearchengine,orsimilar.Ifyouuse
Linux or OS X you're out of luck with this one unless you can persuade someone who has
installed it on Windows to give you a copy of the actual mod that's placed in their
mods
folder. The mod itself is cross-platform so the same file will work anywhere without any
additional risk.
