Here's a small list of mods you can try to get started. Remember to always download the
version that corresponds to your Minecraft version—Forge doesn't remove that particular
requirement.
Too Many Items
Too Many Items is one of the most popular and useful mods, providing an incredible en-
hancement to the inventory window. (FYI, everyone calls it
TMI
.)
TMI adds a host ofcontrols to the window forquickly setting upstacks ofinventory items,
enchanting items up to any level, brewing potions, and controlling other aspects of the
game such as the time, weather, and difficulty level. It also supports saving and reloading
of stored inventory configurations.
While a mod such as TMI makes it ridiculously easy to get through the game in Survival
mode,theabilitytoquicklyloadaparticularconfigurationofitemsorblocksmakesitquite
useful for construction projects in Creative.
