Button
—There are two types of buttons. The Stone button provides a 1-second pulse of
power, whereas the wooden button delivers a pulse for 1.5 seconds and, if you've a sharp
enougheye,canbeactivated bybeingshotwithanarrow.Foranextrachallenge, trydoing
thatwhilegallopingbyonhorseback!Craftabuttonfromonewoodplankblockorablock
of stone obtained by mining stone with a pickaxe charmed with silk touch, or by smelting
cobblestone back into a stone block.
Pressure Plate
—Similar to buttons, pressure plates come in wood or stone variants, both
deliveringcontinuouspowerwhileactivated. Stoneplatesreacttomobs,alow-levelfly-by
in Creative, and by a minecart containing a mob. Dropped items, all minecarts regardless
of contents, the lure on the end of a fishing rod, and arrows also trigger wooden plates.
Weighted Pressure Plate
—Although similar to the standard plate, these plates emit a sig-
nal of strength 1 to 15 according to the number of items on the plate. There are two ver-
