Redstone Block
—Redstone blocks are crafted from nine pieces of harvested redstone.
They act as a continuous power source to any nearby wiring, modifiers, and devices. They
are also the only power source that can be moved by pistons, turning them into a handy
mechanical junction box.
Lever
—Minecraft levers act like an on/off switch, but spruced up with their own built-in
powergeneration.Likebuttons,they'realsosafefrombeingflippedbyanyofthenonplay-
er mobs. Wire up a set of levers as described under “

to create a secure
keypad entry.
