7.2.5 French Prototypes
Tables 7.23 and 7.24 present characteristics and photographs of
rst and second
rotary magnetic prototypes built by Cooltech Applications, while Table 7.25 pre-
sents the rotary prototype from the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory.
The
rst French rotary magnetic device was built by HVAC Department of
National Institute of Applied Sciences in Strasbourg and the company Cooltech
Applications. It was presented in 2005 and 2006 by Vasile and M
ΓΌ
ller [ 52 , 53 ].
Unfortunately, no data regarding the prototype
s performance was given at that
point. However, the design of different prototype elements is thoroughly discussed.
