The operation of an AMR with thermal diodes also consists of four processes,
which are actually the same as in a single-stage device. However, in the case of the
AMR with thermal diodes, the counter-current
uid also
allows the process of regeneration along the length (Fig. 6.35 , y-direction) of the
magnetocaloric material.
