5. Next, we'll find the same point where the door slams shut in the following clip (Scene 2 Slate 3 Take 6).
This will be even easier because we also have the sound of the door shutting to help us and we can use the
clip's audio waveform to visually see where this occurs (see Figure 9.7). You'll find this at 18 seconds 3
frames in the Timeline. Place the playhead at that position or, if you prefer, press M to set a marker at the
same location.

Select Scene 2 Slate 3 Take 6's In point and perform a Ripple edit by dragging it to the right by 7 seconds 8
frames (see Figure 9.8). Press Shift+/ (forward slash) to play back the edit, and you'll see that the cut occurs
exactly on the door slam.
