Fig. 9.6(a), the rate of polymerization somehow increases non-convention-
ally. For this particular case (i.e. addition of the ceramic) a considerable
increase in the rate of polymerization at the initial stages of the process takes
place and a corresponding decrease in the gel effect in the later stages of
conversion is noted. These indicated anomalies become conspicuous when
the amount of ceramic added is increased in the initial reaction mixture.
