Transform2 was replaced by a new node called Blur1 ( FIGURE 2.18 ) .

Here's a recap of the different ways to create nodes.
• To insert a node, select a node in the DAG and create a new node. (Note
that creating a node means to create an attached node. You do this by not
having anything selected in the DAG before you create a node.)
• To branch a node, hold Shift.
• To replace a node, hold Ctrl/Cmd.
The next section covers a few more things you need to know about how to ma-
nipulate nodes in the DAG.
Connecting nodes
Ifyouhaveanunconnectednodethatyouwanttoconnect,orifyouhaveanodeyouwant
to reconnect in a different way, here's how:
• To connect an unattached node, drag its input pipe to the center of the node to
which you want to connect.
