2000-2001 IEA/SITES
The Second Information Technology in Education
Study (SITES). The study focused on innovative practice
using technology at classroom level across a number
of countries and the findings on innovative practice
provided an analytical framework for reviewing innovative
pedagogies in schools. This research informs the work in
the text on policy and pedagogy.
2000-2001 DCSF funded
OECD ICT and School Improvement UK: the findings
from this project showed the power of Rogers' (1993)

provide the theoretical underpinning for the national
2002 TDA and 2006 IDeA projects (qv) and the author's
academic writings and ideas discussed in this text.

European Commission,
Socrates Programme
EU 'European Knowledge Centre' part of the
European Schoolnet Multi Media Project: 'Developing
the teacher-researcher interface on the European

initiatives (qv) and the author's academic writings and

Teaching and Learning Technology Programme 3
' SOURCE: Software Use, Reuse and Customisation in

of EU countries plus the
European Commission
Socrates Programme
EU 'The Learning School Project' part of the European
Schoolnet Multi Media Project: 'Researching effective
practice with ICT in schools across Europe' Final Report
(MM1010). The findings from this research into how

provided the foundation on which many of the
projects above were built. This project established the
European Schoolnet and continues. The E-twinning
project connects 5% of the teachers and pupils across
Europe in online collaborative projects.
1997-1999 British
