6.4 Finite Element Analysis
Comparison was made between the three cases: the healthy, the diseased (rheu-
matoid arthritis) and the wrist after treatment (TWA). Two parameters were used;
stress and contact pressure. The efficiency of the TWA procedure was then
evaluated based on the comparative analyses performed.
