2. Use the Place tool on the Component panel of the Assemble tab to
add the c11-01.ipt file from the Parts\Chapter​11 folder, as shown
in Figure 11.1.

3. Press the Esc key to quit the Place Component tool.
4. Close the file without saving. For the next exercises, you will use an
assembly with the frame already in place.
Whether you load a part file or create a new part in the assembly to use as the
skeleton, this part will always be separate from the rest of the frame.
Inserting Members on Edges
The process of placing the members requires that you click the geometry on
which you want to place them, select a standard of material, and then click the
shape to use and the size. You can also select a color or material property for the
member.
You will now use a skeleton to begin the process of building your frame.

1. Make certain that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then
open the c11-01.iam file from the Assemblies\Chapter​11 folder.
2. Switch the Ribbon to the Design tab, and start the Insert Frame tool
from the Frame panel.
