the fields as described in the “Adding New Links” section, and click Delete to remove the link or
Update Link to save your changes.
Link Categories
We generally don't recommend putting blogroll links into categories, as it makes both managing
and using your blogroll overly complex. However, there are some cases where this makes sense.
For instance, if your blog concerns two disparate topics, such as your professional role as a project
manager, and information about your specific industry, such as cucumber harvesting, you could
have separate categories for links relating to project management and links relating to the growing
and harvesting of cucumbers.
If you do put your blogroll links into categories, follow these steps to manage the categories:
1. From the Links menu in the Administration area, choose Link Categories. The Link Categories
screen appears.
2. Within the Link Categories screen, you can add a category, edit categories and descriptions, or
delete categories.
3. To see all the links in a link category, click the number of links shown in the list of link cate-
gories. The Edit Links screen appears, as described in the previous section, with a list of links
that you can edit or otherwise manage.
Be sure to maintain your link categories carefully, as users could become frustrated if they click
through link categories and still don't find what they're looking for.
