Tag Surfing
WordPress has a new feature called Tag Surfer that allows you to search for WordPress blogs that
use tags you specify. The general idea is to enter at least some of the same tags you use on your
own blog to find related blogs that you can then read, link to, draw inspiration from, or otherwise
use to get more out of WordPress and blogging in general.
To try Tag Surfer, find it under the Dashboard link in the Administration area. Enter the tags you
want to subscribe to and WordPress will pull in related posts. See if any of the blogs involved are
worth adding to your blogroll or help inspire you to write new posts or to add new categories or
new tags to your own blog.
Editing Links
Once you've established your list of links, you'll want to keep it shipshape: long enough to be rela-
tively inclusive and short enough to be useful, with descriptions that not only describe the site
you're linking to but how you use it.
Follow these steps to manage the links in your blogroll:
1. From the Links menu in the Administration area, choose Edit. The Edit Links screen appears, as
shown in Figure 5.11.
