This reaction continues with each of the primary amines reacting with two
epoxides. It is shown with 4,4

-diaminodiphenylsulfone reacting with four
equivalents of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, but recognize that each of the
epoxide ends can react.

The net result is that the polymer extends in many directions forming a
three-dimensional crosslinked network of the thermoset polymer. Note that,
in contrast to the phenolic thermosets, no water is evolved in the cure step.
