Pizza with Caramelized Onion
and Gorgonzola Cheese
Sauté the onions in butter until they are very soft and
caramelized. Top pizza crust with onions, gorgonzola
cheese, and herbs. Bake the pizza on a pizza stone or
pizza pan at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, depending
on desired crispness of crust.
5 large yellow onions, coarsely
chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 large pizza crust
2 cups Gorgonzola cheese
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon dried sage
Salt and pepper
