Now you are ready to bring up the switch running Cat IOS. Ensure you have the config-register set to
0x2 before you reboot and that the right boot variables are correctly set. The following commands set
the boot variables:
boot system flash sup-bootflash:<CatIOS image>
boot bootldr bootflash:<boot loader image>
Loading the Catalyst IOS Image
Load the Cat IOS image by typing the following command:
boot <location>:c6sup-jsdbg-mz.120-7T.XE1.2.02.bin
In this command,
<location>
is either slot0 or bootflash.
Note: Loading this image will take you directly to the MSFC's ROMMON prompt.
rommon 3 > boot bootflash:c6sup-jsdbg-mz.120-7T.XE1.2.02.bin
