Final Pose
We now have a fully realized character complete with a basic set of UVs
(for details on UV mapping please refer back to chapter 3, or the bonus,
downloadable chapter 12. ). The client loves her, so all that is left to do is to
put her into her i nal pose so she can be colored and rendered.
(Note: You will i nd the i les used for this section in the downloaded tutorial
i les inside Chapter 13/Files.)
P reparation
Anyone experienced in 3D will be expecting us to build some sort of skeleton,
so we can easily manipulate and pose our character. For now at least, Silo
doesn't have these tools, but this doesn't mean we can't bend her into shape.
What we can do is enlist some of Silo's basic tools to help us.
Load the scene Chapter13/Files/13_13_FinalUnposed.sib .
This is the character as we previously left her, complete with just a few key
areas UV mapped.
When loaded, Silo will automatically switch our sculpted areas to the highest
subdivision level; for now, though, we need her in her base state.
