If we look at the upper ear, we can see that we have an n-gon around the start
of the Helix .

● Create a Cut following the l ow of the Helix , as shown in Figure 8.64,

dividing the n-gon.

● Now select the edges shown in Figure 8.65 and Merge them.

Let's look at the upper ear now, and the Anthelix area. Here we need more of a
crease around the Helix .

● First, divide the n-gon at the base of the Helix , making a quad. You can see

this Cut in Figure 8.66b .

● Next, create the series of Cuts shown in Figure 8.66c. We need to continue

the cut around the inside of the ear, and remove some of the existing
triangles.
