G o t o Modify > Bridge ( Alt B ) to connect them (Figure 5.86c).
Next, select the edges on either side of each toe and create a Bridge t o
complete each toe. For best results, do this one toe at a time. Your foot
should look like that in Figure 5.86e when done.
This leaves us with two holes, one at the ball of the foot, and a smaller one at
the heel. Rather than try to build in the geometry for these, we will i ll them
using the Fill Hole tool .
First, select an edge around the front hole and press Shift F to i ll it.
Repeat this to i ll in the hole at the heel (Figure 5.86f ).
The sole of the foot is now closed, but at the ball area, we have a large n-gon
made up of seven edges. Our next task is to convert this to quads, and remove
any triangles left over.
