16. Experiment with different Wind Speed and Wind Direction settings
and observe how this effects the sky animation.
Since you did not change the model in the exercise, there is no need for an
“end” version of the proposal.
Capturing Your design with snapshots and
renders
As you have seen, you can create stunning 3D models of your design ideas using
InfraWorks. But what if you want to create a still image of your model for use
in a presentation or report? Two commands are available in InfraWorks for per-
forming this task: Create Snapshot and Render Model.
Create snapshot
The Create Snapshot command generates a still image from your current view
of the model and gives you the opportunity to save that image to a file. You
access the command by clicking the Presentation icon on the main toolbar and
then clicking Create Snapshot on the Presentation toolbar. This will open the
Camera Snapshot dialog (see Figure 6.17) where you can specify some basic
parameters for the snapshot such as the file location, resolution, and aspect
