5. Click the Road tab of the Style Palette.
6. Click the Add icon in the Style Editing section at the bottom of the
Style Palette.
7. In the Define New Road dialog, click the ellipsis button next to
Material Group. Select New Road and click OK.
8. Select Asphalt for Road Intersection Material.
9. For Lane Markings Material, select <Not Set>. Click the light bulb
icon to turn it off.
The General Settings section of the Define New Road dialog should
look like FigureĀ 5.23.

10. In the Track Settings section, enter 25 (7.5) in the Right Group row.
This sets the value for Group Height Transition Zone Width, which
controls the width of the embankment that ties the road elevations
to existing elevations.
11. In the first row under Right Group, enter 0.25 (0.08) for the track
width. For Track Top Surface Category, select Asphalt.
This creates a narrow strip of pavement in the space between the
double yellow line along the center of the road. Since this is the first
track and the road is symmetrical, the result will be a 0.5 ft. (0.16 m)
wide strip.
12. For the next row, enter 0.33 (0.1) for Track Width and select Yellow
Stripe for Track Top Surface Category.
