7. In the Define New Material dialog, select Texture. Click the ellipsis
button to the right of Uri.
8. Browse to C:\InfraWorks Essentials\Chapter 05\Textures\ and
select Asphalt.jpg .
9. Click Open. The Added Texture File To Model Resources dialog will
appear informing you that the file you've selected will be copied into
the current model file set. Click OK to dismiss it.
10. Click OK to dismiss the Define New Material dialog.
11. In the Style Palette, type New Asphalt as the name of the material
and press Enter.
12. Click the Material Group tab of the Style Palette.
13. Click the Add icon in the Style Editing section at the bottom of the
Style Palette to create a new material group.
14. In the Define New Material Group dialog, click the Add Material button.
A new line will be created.
15. Double-click the Name cell and enter Asphalt .
16. Double-click the Material cell to open the Select Material Style/
Color dialog.
17. Double-click the Roadway folder and select New Asphalt. Click OK.
18. Click the Add Material button.
19. Enter White Stripe in the Name cell for row 2.
20. Double-click the Material cell for row 2.
21. In the Select Material Style/Color dialog, click the Color tab.
22. Click the white color swatch at the bottom-right corner under Basic
Colors. Verify that the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha Channel values
are all 255. Click OK.
23. Add another material named Yellow Stripe that uses a color with
values of 255, 255, 0, and 255 for the Red, Green, Blue, and Alpha
Chanel values, respectively.
The Define New Material Group dialog should now appear as
shown in FigureĀ 5.22.
