Long Development History
XEMC has begun the research on the wind power generation
since the 1980s. It was one of the earliest enterprises that began
to engage in the research on wind power generation in China. At
the beginning of the 1990s, XEMC developed the first 315 kW and
600 kW asynchronous wind generators of China, both of which
won the “Science and Technology Progress Award of China
Machinery Industry”.
In 2004, XEMC developed the first 1 300 kW wind turbine
double-fed asynchronous generator in China. In 2007, XEMC
successfully launched the first batch of complete 2 MW PMDD
wind turbine generators in China. XEMC successfully developed the
first 5 MW PMDD wind turbine generator installation in China
in 2010, and, in 2011, the first 6 MW double-fed wind turbine
generator and the first direct-driven electric excitation wind turbine
generator in China.
