So far, XEMC has established its industrial bases in Xiangtan of
Hunan province, Zhangzhou of Fujian province, Tongliao of Inner
Mongolia, Wuwei of Gansu province, and Rotterdam of Netherlands,
and now is able to manufacture 2 000 sets of complete direct-
driven wind turbine generators, 2 500 direct-driven wind turbine
generators, and 2 000 double-fed wind turbine generators. It is
an industrial base of complete set of mega watt level wind power
generation system approved by the National Development and
Reform Commission of China, and the chairman unit of China
Wind Equipment Society.

Solid Technical Strength
In the wind power industry, XEMC is famous for its leading
technology and top-grade products. XEMC has three specialised
wind power research institutions, that are, XEMC Wind Power
Research Institute, XEMC Beijing Wind Power Academy and
Holland Darwind Wind Turbine Academy. XEMC has more than
860 technicians engaged in the research on wind power,
including 72 European researchers with top design level from
XEMC Darwind BV. XEMC is the only national energy wind
generator research and development (experimental) centre of
national resources of China, and has the capability of development
of first-class products, and autonomous innovation.
The wind driven products of XEMC are provided with
complete proprietary intellectual property rights. Now, 116
applications for patent have been accepted, and 64 patents have
been obtained.
XEMC is the unit to compile national standards for the wind
turbine generators in China. Entrusted by Chinese government,
