A Very Personal Experience
In 1974, I was myself an amateur that was caught in one of the
many traps of early wind energy. I fell a victim to the Swede Bengt
Södergaard's topic
. It was the only accessible
windmill design topic by that time. I expected that Södergaard
was an expert whose recipe could have been trusted. I did not want
to experiment, but to build a windmill that could supply the house
with power.
