Worthwhile to remember from the 1970s as well is the small
Veflinge windmill, built by a group with some of them former
Tvind Windmill team members: Sanne Wittrup, Iben Østergaard,
Martin Winther Jensen, Lars Peter Riishøjgaard and Hans Peter
Ravn. Their small windmill was to be sophisticated and optimised
with specially hinged sail wings in order to reduce the rotor loads.
The young windmill builders had to give up their eforts. However,
their time was not wasted.
Later on, Sanne Wittrup became a leading energy journalist
on energy for the weekly
, and Martin Winther Jensen
had an education as engineer. For some years he was employed
