- the problem of splitting between long distance routing and local distribution,
including “the last kilometer”, is a logistical problem, but the role of ICT
(contextualized and wearable) is vital in this. Numerous studies and experiments are
progressing but also still need to be conducted;
- more globally the identification and the structuring of services largely still
remains to be done, to lead to an open system with easily cofigurable services. An
initial modeling is put forward in Figure 6.26. Here also, there is still a long way
to go.
