the task. We make a more detailed analysis of lifting weights later in the text.
Interaction between figures does not necessarily entail a shared workload or
even a physical link between the participants. Dance mostly entails a kind of
sympathetic interaction between individuals, with the separate actions of the
dancers determined or shaped by the actions of others. Seen in isolation, an
individual dancer's movements may not have context; it is only in considering
the behavior of the various partners that the dance becomes complete and
true interaction takes place.
