the body. The rotation of the forearm is described as supination (outward
rotation) and pronation (inward rotation).
Circumduction . This term describes a type of rotational movement that
occurs through three planes. The movement of the part of the body being
moved in this manner (the trunk, arm, or leg) describes a cone shape, with
the point of the cone located at the pivot point of the movement.
