Once the audio file is accessible in the Browser of Final Cut Pro you can confirm
that the sample rate is correct.

Control click on the audio file.

Scroll to Item Properties and scroll right to
Format.

Check the audio sample rate listed towards
the bottom of the Item Properties window.
At any time you can check the audio sample rate of any of the files in the
Browser. It's simply a matter of Control clicking, choosing Item Properties,
scrolling to Format and then checking the setting. If sample rates mismatch this
can be easily identified and corrected. Export the file from Final Cut Pro using
QuickTime
Conversion, then
re-import the new file
into the Browser.
