Work with Spreadsheets
I know people whose lives aren't stable unless they have multiple spread-
sheets to organize information. Apple's Numbers app is an extremely
capable spreadsheet app that can go with you anywhere. Here's an
example of how to create a blank spreadsheet and populate it with data.
1.
In Numbers, tap the New (
) button and choose New Document.

Choose a template; for this example, choose Blank.
3.
Double-tap a table cell to enter data.

To add a calculation, tap the = button in the formula bar. In Figure 10.21 ,
I am multiplying two cells by tapping the SUM button and then
tapping one cell, then “x” and the other cell. Note that the onscreen
keyboard changes depending on the information you're entering.

To add a graph that represents the data, tap the Media button (

and choose a style from the Charts heading. Then, double-tap the
