Exercise M.7.1 (MATLAB file exercise_M_7_1.m ) Using the periodogram
method, estimate the PSDs and show PSD plots for two white signals X 1 (normal)
and X 2 (uniform), both with m ¼ 0 and s 2
¼ 1.
Solution The PSD is estimated using the MATLAB file periodogram.m
The estimated PSDs are shown in Fig. 7.30 in a normal scale and in a logarithmic
scale in Fig. 7.31 .
