that even if you're on hand at park opening, waits can easily top 2 hours—and often
much,muchmorethanthat.Inanattempt tomitigate thewaits,Disneyrecentlybegan
handing out timed-return passes, similar to old-style FastPasses, when lines reach ex-
cessive lengths—guests return at a later time and (hopefully) have a much shorter
wait. At present, the return passes are in the testing phase, so it's unclear when or how
often they'll be given out. If they are being distributed, look for cast members sta-
tioned in front of the normal standby queue.
The wait for Anna and Elsa was more than 3 hours, and you get to talk to
them for only a few minutes—but it was a life-changing experience. Every-
one should do it.
