Survey data
The data sample in Figure 1.4 is from a survey of fast-food restaurants from FoodSource ( www.food-
source.com ). A survey typically will consist of hundreds of such responses and needs to be processed
for creating a cluster from a population and their associated responses. Often the data becomes cum-
bersome to manage due to lack of demographics of the survey targets.
