Creating Custom Settings
Photoshop CS2 Camera Raw has custom setting options that aren't available in the ver-
sion of Camera Raw included with Photoshop Elements 3. The options to create custom
settings are located in the pop-up menu next to the Settings dropdown list (Figure 6.34).
Depending on the option selected in Preferences (Figure 6.35), settings will be
saved as an XMP “sidecar” file or within the Camera Raw database. I strongly recom-
mend using the XMP sidecar option. This way if you move images, or if the Camera
Raw database becomes corrupted for some reason, you still have all of your settings.
