Condition and Key Issues Analysis on the Smarter
Tourism Construction in China

Abstract. Smart Tourism, cored in massive tourism resources data center, sup-
ported by IOT and cloud computing, focused on tourists through intelligent
identification, intelligent monitoring and location based service, is a new tour-
ism form to provide application services to government, businesses and resi-
dents. This paper firstly analyzes certain areas with ST construction pilots and
summarizes the works of some well-known scholars in China, and then further
elaborates the conceptual definition of ST and the existing problems. Finally,
proposes a Triple-A theory model and general technical architecture of syste-
matic design, in order to provide theoretical, methodological and operational
references for the study of ST.

Introduction
"Smarter Tourism (ST)" already becomes the hottest topics currently, and also the
most cutting edge research topic, catching much attention in society.
Currently, domestic researchers define ST from different viewpoints, propose dif-
ferent conceptual models [1,2], and several ST construction plan with different mod-
els already appear. Yet, theoretical model and systematic framework to direct ST is
still weak even deficient. ST construction system framework, system standard, inter-
est subject, operation model and expansion model, etc, needing further explanation.
Therefore, the paper opens to the deficiencies of research and application from re-
searchers, area panel, relevant information technical service vendors, system solution
vendors, etc, further analyzes the content, development model and construction plan,
systematically analyzes domestic representative ST application, existing research
problems, and predict the future work, to provide reference of theory, application and
experiment for domestic ST.
