OVERVIEW Wolfgang Puck has nothing to do with this restaurant that bears his name, which
is now operated by the same company that runs Portobello and Fulton's. The restaurant is
reminiscent of “The Max” from Saved by the Bell and the menu features an assortment of
fresh pizzas, salads, pastas, sushi, and traditional entrees like steak and chicken. Kids are
unlikely to connect with the art-deco style, though their menu includes spaghetti, cheese
pizza, chicken tenders, and sushi. Wolfgang Puck Express next door serves pizzas that
come out of the same oven for less money, and is a better choice.
Dining Reviews: The Disney Resorts
Disney's resorts offer the majority of the best restaurants on property, whether we're dis-
cussing five-star dining at Victoria & Albert's at the Grand Floridian or the rootin' tootin'
good time that is hollering along to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. We provide
reviews of all these meals in the material that follows.
Unfortunately, resort-to-resort travel is often inconvenient because Disney does not of-
fer resort-to-resort buses. Guests relying on Disney transportation from the values and
moderates in particular will need to wait for a bus to a theme park or Downtown Disney,
then wait for a bus for the resort they're headed to, and then take the time to ride the bus
over to the resort and find the restaurant. Disney recommends allowing 90 minutes each
way for such travel. And they're not wrong. Travel is particularly taxing for early morn-
ing breakfasts when buses run less frequently (check with your concierge for the schedule)
and for late night dinners when the theme parks may already be closed, limiting transfer
options.
There are some alternatives. Taxis are usually stationed outside the resort or bell services
will be glad to call, but they add $25-$60 roundtrip to the cost of the meal. Guests already
renting cars have it easiest and can drive directly to the resort with the help of signs and
GPS.
We have some tips on reducing the hassle using Disney transportation.
Guests staying at the monorail resorts—Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand
Floridian—are connected by the resort monorail and visiting any of the resorts
from any other will only take about 15 minutes each way.
Guests staying at the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, or Fort Wilderness are
connected by boat and visiting any of the resorts from any other will only take
about 15-30 minutes each way.
Guests staying at the Epcot resorts—Beach Club, Yacht Club, BoardWalk Inn,
Swan, and Dolphin—are all within a 15-minute walk from each other and water-
craft transportation is also available between the resorts.
