selection, visit the Winn-Dixie (and nearby liquor store) at 1957 S Apopka Vineland Rd, in
Orlando, or the Publix (and nearby liquor store) at 29 Blake Boulevard, in Kissimmee. The
nearest to your hotel will be about a 10-15 minute drive.
Without transportation or the wherewithal to venture out to a super>market on vacation,
consider a grocery delivery service. We like GardenGrocer.com and WeGoShop.com .
Garden Grocer is the most popular, but you're limited to what you can order based on their
web store. We Go Shop will visit whatever area store you specify for whatever specific
products you want, but the delivery fee is higher. Both deliver beer and wine. Also consider
Amazon Pantry, which will deliver directly to your resort.
Dining Reviews: Introduction
Brief reviews of the table service restaurants in the parks, Downtown Disney, and the Dis-
ney resorts follow.
First, you'll find reviews of the restaurants inside each theme park, in alphabetical order.
Next, you'll find an alphabetized list of the resorts, with reviews of all restaurants located
at that resort.
We start with the venue name and location within its area, indicating also whether a meal
is a character meal or a dinner show. We then note cuisine, operating hours, and whether
or not it is on the Disney Dining Plan (abbreviated as DDP)—note that some DDP meals
require two credits and are so indicated. Next we give typical prices and any available dis-
counts for Disney Vacation Club point owners (“DVC”), those who have purchased Tables
in Wonderland discount cards* (“TiW”), Annual Passholders (“AP”), and holders of Dis-
ney Visa cards (“DV”). We then get into the food and ambiance of the restaurants them-
selves. This material is necessarily brief—for more, see Josh's EasyWDW.com . Prices,
menus, hours, required credits, discounts etc., are all subject to change.
We also throw some Disney jargon around:
• Signature Restaurant: two credit venues usually aimed at adults—that is, thin on
kid appeal, but with finer and more elegant dining. Most have a mild dress code,
e.g., on men, pants are preferred, nice shorts are OK, but no tank tops.
• Family Style: food for the entire table is served on platters and shared amongst the
table.
• Walk-up: trying to get a seating without having a reservation.
Note also that some venues will require full pre-payment—at press time, Hoop-Dee-
Doo, Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue, and Cinderella's Royal Table—and
most others will require a credit card so that a no-show fee can be charged. To avoid no-
show fees, cancel no later than 11:59pm on the day before the reservation.
*Only Annual Pass holders, DVC owners, and Florida residents are eligible to buy the
Tables in Wonderland card. Visit TablesInWonderland.com for more information on avail-
ability and blackout dates.
