The Haunted Mansion
RANKING Don't miss. EMH Evening. FP+ Yes. Medium priority. TYPE Light-hearted, slow-
moving ride through a haunted house and its graveyard. REQUIREMENTS None.
WHAT TO EXPECT One of the most famous rides at the park, the Haunted Mansion is one
of Disney's best and most enduring attractions. Intended to be a fun and goofy ride, not
a frightening experience, you won't see anything truly gruesome or disgusting. This is a
must-ride for almost all guests. SCARY FACTOR Haunted Mansion is much more spooky than
it is scary, but a lot of kids are going to be apprehensive about entering the foreboding
building. Rest assured that it's a lot of fun. CAN WE HANDLE IT? Yes, those brave enough to
enter enjoy the experience.
WHEN TO GO First two or last two hours of operation, or with FastPass+. EXPECT TO WAIT
20-50 minutes in the afternoon, longer if the Hall of Presidents and Liberty Square River-
boat have just let out guests, as they do every thirty minutes. LENGTH 10 minutes. WHERE
TO SIT Each Doom Buggy seats two to three. Sit apprehensive youngsters (or dads) in the
middle.
The Liberty Square Riverboat
RANKING Minor attraction. EMH No. FP+ No. TYPE Steamboat tour around the Rivers of
America. REQUIREMENTS None.
WHAT TO EXPECT The Liberty Square Riverboat is a stately three-tiered paddle-wheel boat
that slowly circles Tom Sawyer Island and offers fantastic views of Splash Mountain, Big
Thunder Mountain Railroad, and several other popular attractions. Some very minor vign-
ettes otherwise visible only from the Walt Disney World Railroad also appear. The voice of
Mark Twain narrates the journey. Skippable for those on short visits. SCARY FACTOR None.
WHEN TO GO Anytime attraction. See it when waits are long at other rides, or you need to
get out of the weather. EXPECT TO WAIT Arrive either at 20 or 50 minutes past the hour and
your wait should be just ten minutes. LENGTH 17 minutes. WHERE TO SIT Bow and stern
locations where you can easily see both riverbanks are best. Otherwise sit on the port side.

Fantasyland
With the longest list of attractions, this is where most guests will spend the majority of their
time. Fortunately, most attractions enjoy short durations and healthy capacities, making it
relatively easy to bang out the majority of rides in under an hour first thing in the morning
or when crowds ease in the late evening. Mickey's PhilharMagic is an outstanding 3D any-
time attraction, and Enchanted Tales with Belle is an afternoon FastPass+ priority.
Be Our Guest Restaurant is the park's newest restaurant, serving quick service lunch
and table service dinner. Unlike any other quick service on property, it permits—perhaps
requires—reservations that can be made up to 180 days in advance like most sit-down res-
taurants. Lunch is mostly soups, salads, and sandwiches, in addition to quiches and braised
pork—all available for under $15 each. Dessert is cupcakes and cream puffs, just like din-
