working water wheel, and Fort Langhorn, a play area. Benches are plentiful and the Island
is a terrific spot to take a break. Skippable for those without kids, or on a short visit. SCARY

WHEN TO GO Anytime attraction. See it when waits are long at other rides, or you simply
are nearby. Afternoons tend to be best, but note that it closes before dusk. EXPECT TO WAIT
5-15 minutes to get raft transport in the afternoon. LENGTH Allow 30-45 minutes+ includ-
ing time spent waiting for the rafts, more if your kids really need to run around.

The Walt Disney World Railroad
See the “Main Street” entry on the railroad, which stops in Frontierland near the exit to
Splash Mountain.

Liberty Square
To the left of Cinderella Castle, Liberty Square offers the fewest attractions and eateries of
any land, but what is offered is all above average in terms of quality. Hall of Presidents is a
perfect way to spend a hot afternoon, while Haunted Mansion is quintessential Disney.
Columbia Harbour House across from Haunted Mansion is our favorite quick service,
offering a delicious fried shrimp platter, in addition to salads, unique sandwiches, grilled
salmon, and excellent soups. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments serves excellent waffle sand-
wiches from 11am-5pm, as well as funnel cakes, waffles, and other ice cream treats.
Liberty Tree Tavern is one of our favorite table service restaurants for lunch, when it offers
a reasonably priced a la carte menu. The dinner buffet no longer features characters and it's
expensive out of pocket.
Across from Hall of Presidents is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, which offers primarily
Christmas-related merchandise. Yankee Trader Gourmet Shop near Haunted Mansion's
exit offers the full line of Haunted Mansion merchandise, along with mostly kitchen-related
items.

REQUIREMENTS None.
WHAT TO EXPECT A theater show featuring film clips and animatronics of all of the U.S.
Presidents. The show is patriotic and expounds on the hardships and triumphs of the United
States through the years. The theater is air-conditioned, comfortable, and seats over 700
people, which makes it a nice and easy attraction to enjoy in the afternoon heat. Enjoyed
most by adults and patriotic Americans, dull for most kids. Skippable for those on shorter
visits. SCARY FACTOR None, other than it's full of politicians.
WHEN TO GO Anytime attraction. See it when waits are long at other rides, or you need to
get out of the weather. EXPECT TO WAIT Arrive either at 20 or 50 minutes past the hour and
your wait should be just ten minutes. LENGTH 25 minutes. WHERE TO SIT Sit in the middle
row, towards the center.
