show. In addition, the fun Serveur Amusant comedy/acrobat show is scheduled throughout
the afternoon most days.
France is home to two sit-down restaurants, a quick service boulangerie patisserie (bakery),
and an ice cream parlor. Les Chefs de France downstairs is themed to a casual Parisian
bistro and serves an excellent, relatively inexpensive three-course lunch in addition to a
la carte items. Upstairs is the ritzier Monsieur Paul, serving a more expensive dinner-only
menu catered toward adults. Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, located in the back of the
pavilion, serves sandwiches, quiche, salads, desserts, and other French specialties. It's an
excellent spot to pick up a snack or a meal. Finally, L'Artisan des Glaces serves freshly
prepared sorbet and ice cream with the option of a shot of liquor poured on top.
Shopping includes wine, perfume, and fun French-themed Disney merchandise.
United Kingdom Pavilion
The United Kingdom Pavilion is one of the more architecturally diverse World Showcase
pavilions, with the Hampton Court Palace, Anne Hathaway's (William Shakespeare's wife)
thatched roof cottage, two castles, and a miniature version of Hyde Park represented. You'll
see replicas of the red phone booths England is so famous for, as well as a variety of beau-
tiful garden areas.
The British Revolution, playing hits from The Who, Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and others, is
the entertainment here. Several shops carry a range of British goods, including tea, perfume
and makeup, apparel, and a lot of Guinness- and Beatles-related merchandise.
Rose & Crown Dining Room is the pavilion's table service restaurant. It's a casual, low key
affair, and your best opportunity to watch IllumiNations from a restaurant while you dine.
The Pub next door is an excellent spot to grab a pint. Yorkshire County Fish Co. outside
serves excellent fast food fish and chips with limited picturesque seating along the lagoon.
Canada Pavilion
Gorgeous Victoria Gardens and a replica of the Canadian Rockies complete with a 30-foot
waterfall lead guests into the Canada Pavilion. The Hotel du Canada, modeled after Ott-
awa's Fairmont Chateau Laurier, is the pavilion's largest and most magnificently detailed
building. Canada features a Circle-Vision 360 film similar to Reflections of China . The
18-minute O' Canada! show is projected onto nine individual screens that surround the
theatre. The film is presented in such a way that each screen shows the view looking out in
that particular direction, so you feel like you're right in the middle of the shot. While it's
standing-room-only, the theater is large and air-conditioned. A 15-minute Canadian Lum-
berjack show is scheduled daily at the outdoor stage.
Le Cellier is the pavilion's table service restaurant, primarily offering steak. Like Monsieur
Paul in France, it's a signature restaurant, which means it will set you back two Dining Plan
credits and is more expensive out of pocket than most restaurants.
Shopping is limited to stuffed animals and other toys, along with apparel items and some
food and beverages.
