Looming over sunset Boulevard: Tower of Terror
As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you'll be immersed in a haunting experience. You'll
enteraroomthatimmediatelygoesdarkafteraloudthunderclapasyouwatchavideohos-
ted by Rod Serling, the creator of the old Twilight Zone television series, which sets the
stage for the attraction. (Yes- it is really Rod Serling in the video. Although he died nearly
20 years before Disney began work on the attraction, Disney used a little 'magic' and a
celebrity impersonator to voiceover parts of the dialogue to bring you the introduction.)
You'll be seated aboard a rickety old freight (or should I say 'fright'?) elevator that will
soonbeginmovingthroughthehauntedhallwaysofthehotel,stoppingseveraltimesalong
the way to present the spooky scenes leading up to the climax of the ride.
