“Wishes” show at Cinderella Castle
If you're traveling to Disney during peak seasons, be prepared to line up early, and stand
elbow to elbow with other guests. Main Street and the surrounding areas will be packed.
There's a good reason- it's worth it!
Although you'll certainly be exhausted after a long day at Walt Disney World's Magic
Kingdom, you'll definitely want to stay for this show! If you don't want to get stuck in
the big crowds during the mass exodus after the show, there are several shops along Main
Street U.S.A. where you can wait it out. We love to stop at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
afterthefireworks.Youshoulddefinitelytrytheir'createyourown'icecreamsandwiches-
they're delicious!!! You pick the cookies and the ice cream and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
cast members do the rest.
The show is preceded (and followed) by Disney's Electrical Parade down Main Street,
U.S.A. The Electrical Parade features dozens of Disney floats and characters lit up with
thousands of brilliantly colored flashing lights accompanied a beautiful musical score.
The parade begins near the barber shop at the beginning of Main Street; proceeds around
the traffic circle in front of the main train station, and then onward down Main Street,
U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle. After moving around the traffic circle at the Castle, the
