Space Mountain
No trip to Magic Kingdom would be complete without blasting off on this perennial fa-
vorite. While certainly not up to the thrill level of some of today's super-coasters, Space
Mountain is unique in that it is entirely indoors and completely dark throughout the ride-
except for the star fields of course! Although this coaster barely tops 30 mph, the fact that
it's in the dark makes it seem much faster. The excitement of not knowing whether you'll
climb and dip, or twist and turn keeps you guessing and definitely adds to the thrill.
