Final Cut Pro is now configured to ingest newly acquired media to the location set up in
the previous exercise.
Leave Waveform Cache, Thumbnail Cache, and the Autosave Vault at their
default, local locations. These folders should always remain on the local system and
not be assigned to any network location.

In this exercise, you'll be using log and transfer to acquire some P2 footage, and will have
Final Cut Server automatically catalog the assets from the capture scratch location. You
won't be moving any of the assets from their primary locations; they'll remain in the cap-
ture scratch device. This approach is especially useful in shared storage environments.

Using the Finder, navigate to the FCS_Book_Files folder on your desktop. Open
Panasonic P2 Ducati.dmg
. This mounts the disk image file on your local system.
