Synchronizing calendars
Like contacts, you can also use your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch to create events and perform other calendar
maintenance. However, most people find it a bit easier to manage their schedule using Calendar on their Mac
(although the Calendar app on the iPad is awfully good). And, certainly, you must use the Mac Calendar if you
want to add your events to your iPod's Calendar feature.
Follow these steps to synchronize calendars with your device:
1. In iTunes, click your device in the Devices list.
2. For an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch, click the Info tab. For an iPod, click the Contacts tab.
3. Select the Sync Calendars check box.
4. Select an option to add the calendar data as well. If you want to bypass synchronizing calendars,
deselect the Sync Calendars check box and click Apply.
All calendars. Select this option to sync all your calendars.
Selected calendars. Select this option to sync only the calendars you pick. In the calendar list, select
the check box beside each calendar that you want to synchronize, as shown in Figure 3.9.
