Chapter 1: How Do I Connect
Devices?
You love MacBook Air because it doesn't require you to be a genius to accomplish basic, everyday tasks. Got a
new mouse? Just plug it into one of the USB ports and it's ready to use within seconds. Nice! Unfortunately,
some devices are more ornery and require a bit of extra effort on your part to get them connected and configured.
In this chapter, I take you through connecting a few such devices, including Thunderbolt devices, an external dis-
play, another Mac, a printer, and imaging devices such as digital cameras and scanners.
