4. Choose Layer a New Adjustment Layer a Hue/Saturation. Open the
Adjustments panel if it is not already visible. Select Colorize, and in
the Properties panel, drag the Hue slider to 240, Saturation to 43,
and Lightness to +33 (see Figure 11.15).

5. At this point the blue hue obscures the green color fill layer that you
could see prior to step 4 because adjustment layers affect all the lay-
ers below them in the layer stack by default. Click the clipping group
toggle icon. The Hue/Saturation 1 layer becomes indented and
the Base layer becomes underlined, indicating that they are part of
a clipping group (see Figure 11.16). The Base layer clips (masks) the
effect of the indented adjustment layer. Figure 11.17 shows the result-
ing texture.

6. Double-click the Filter Gallery smart filter under the Base layer to
reopen its dialog box. Toggle off the Poster Edges effect and click OK.
Toggle off the Add Noise smart layer in the Layers panel.
7. Select the Hue/Saturation layer and drag the Saturation slider to 73
and Lightness to -10 in the Adjustments panel. The result looks more
like a map.
