6. Save the file as Design-final.psd , but do not close it.
7. Open Flag.psd . Choose Window a Arrange a Float All In Windows.
8. Select the Design-final document window, hold Shift, and select the
Rectangle 1 layer so that the Shape 1 and Rectangle 1 layers are both
selected. Keep holding Shift and drag these layer thumbnails into the
Flag document window.
9. Choose Edit a Free Transform to scale both of these layers down to
fit the flag. Select the Maintain Aspect Ratio button on the options
bar, click in the Width box, hold Shift, and press the down arrow five
times to reduce the scale uniformly to 50%. Press Enter.

10. Press Cmd+G to create a layer group containing the Shape 1 and
Rectangle 1 layers. Change the blend mode of Group 1 to Color. The
result is shown in Figure 10.16.

11. Hold Shift and select the Flag layer so that both Group 1 and Flag
are selected. Press Cmd+E to merge the visible layers, which results
in a single layer. Press Cmd+T and click the Warp toggle. Open
the Warp drop-down on the options bar, choose Flag, type 15 in
the Bend text box, and press Enter. Press Cmd+; to hide the guides.
Figure 10.17 shows the result.
